Privacy policy
What we keep about you, why, for how long, and how to make us change or delete it. Last updated 28 October 2026.
Who is responsible for your data
The website digitgloaxirtation.cc is run by Gloaxir, a photo and film studio based in Chișinău, Republic of Moldova. Gloaxir is the controller of the personal data described in this policy, in the meaning of Law No. 133 of 8 July 2011 on personal data protection.

The law this policy follows
We process personal data according to the legislation of the Republic of Moldova, in particular Law No. 133/2011 on personal data protection, the requirements for securing personal data adopted under it, and Law No. 287/2017 on accounting and financial reporting for the documents we must keep. Where we work with clients or people in the European Union, we also apply the principles of the General Data Protection Regulation to the extent it applies to us.
The supervisory authority in Moldova is the National Center for Personal Data Protection (Centrul Național pentru Protecția Datelor cu Caracter Personal), Chișinău, website datepersonale.md. You may complain to it at any time, though we would like the chance to put things right first.
What this website collects
Very little. The site has no forms, no accounts, no analytics, no advertising tags and no embedded content from other companies. It does not set cookies (see the cookie policy).
Like every web server, the server that delivers these pages keeps short technical logs: your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested, the browser's user-agent string and the response code. These logs are used only to keep the site running and to detect abuse. They are kept for no longer than 30 days and then deleted automatically.
What we collect when you contact us
The "Send a brief" and "Book a recce" links open your own email program. The phone number connects you to the studio. When you use either, we receive what you choose to give us, which is usually:
- your name, the company you work for and your role;
- your email address and phone number;
- the content of your brief, including references, deadlines and budgets;
- anything you attach, such as product photos, logos or mood boards.
We use this to answer you, prepare an estimate, plan the shoot and keep a record of what was agreed.
What we collect when we work together
Once a job is confirmed we also keep:
- contract details, invoices and payment records, including the company's fiscal code and bank details;
- contact details of the people on set, such as your team, models and talent;
- signed model and property releases;
- the photographs and footage themselves, which may show identifiable people.
Photographs and film of people
An image of a recognisable person is personal data. We only photograph or film identifiable people on a job when they have agreed, normally in a written release that says where the images will be used and for how long. For people under 18, a parent or legal guardian signs.
On documentary and street work, such as our market and boulevard shoots, we ask people in the frame for agreement on the spot and note it. If someone appears by chance in the background and is identifiable, we either ask, blur, or leave the frame out.
We show work on this website only with the client's permission and the release of the people pictured. If you see yourself here and would like the picture removed, write to us and we will take it down within five working days, without needing a reason.
Why we are allowed to use your data
- To prepare and carry out a contract with you or your company: briefs, estimates, scheduling, delivery.
- To meet legal obligations: accounting, tax and the retention of primary documents.
- With your consent: model releases, publishing images in our portfolio, and the use of your name in a case note.
- For our legitimate interest: keeping server logs for security, and keeping project files in case of a dispute or a reprint request.
You may withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect what was lawfully done before it, and it does not cancel usage rights a client has already paid for under a signed release.
How long we keep it
- Emails about a brief that did not become a job: 12 months from the last message.
- Contracts, invoices and accounting records: for the period required by Moldovan accounting legislation, after which they are destroyed.
- Model and property releases: as long as the images they cover are in use, plus three years.
- Project backups (RAW files, footage, edits): 24 months from delivery, then deleted unless you ask us to keep them longer.
- Server logs: up to 30 days.
Who else sees it
We do not sell or rent personal data. We share it only with the people and services needed to do the work:
- our email and file storage providers;
- the private gallery service we use to deliver selects;
- our external accountant in Chișinău;
- freelance crew booked for your job, who are bound by confidentiality;
- public authorities, where the law requires it, for example the State Tax Service.
Some of these providers store data on servers outside Moldova, including in the European Union. Where data leaves the country, we use providers in states that ensure an adequate level of protection, or rely on contractual safeguards as permitted by Law No. 133/2011.
How we protect it
Project files live on encrypted drives in a locked room at the studio and in an encrypted off-site backup. Access to email and storage uses two-factor authentication. Signed releases are scanned and the paper copies kept in a locked cabinet. Freelancers receive only the files they need, and access is removed when the job ends.
Your rights
Under Moldovan law you have the right to:
- be told whether we hold data about you and get a copy of it;
- have inaccurate data corrected, and incomplete data completed;
- have data deleted or blocked where it is processed unlawfully or no longer needed;
- object to processing based on our legitimate interest;
- not be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing (we do not make any);
- complain to the National Center for Personal Data Protection and go to court.
To use any of these rights, email [email protected], call +373 69 214 538, or write to the address above. We answer within 15 days and do not charge for it. We may ask you to confirm your identity before handing over data.
Children
This website is not aimed at children. We photograph minors only on commissioned jobs, with a parent or guardian present on set and their signed agreement.
Changes
If we change how we handle data, we update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes affecting active clients are also sent by email.
