What leaves the halls on Mateevici

Most jobs need two of these. Many need all three, and then the same people carry the pictures from the first frame to the export.

One shoot, from the first call to the hard drive

A typical two-day job for a Chișinău brand. Bigger productions stretch the middle, never the end.

  1. Brief

    Day you write to us

You send the product, the date it must go live and where the pictures will sit. We reply the same working day with a crew, a hall, a shot list draft and a price in lei.

  2. Recce

    A week before

For location days we walk the street at the hour we will shoot it. In late October the sun leaves Ștefan cel Mare boulevard around 16:30, so we plan the wide shots for the morning.

  3. Shoot

    The day itself

Call time 8:00, hot lunch in the courtyard kitchen at 13:00, wrap by 19:00. A tethered screen sits by the set so you approve frames as they land, not a week later.

  4. Delivery

48 hours to 5 days after

Selects go up in a private gallery within two days. Graded film and retouched finals follow, along with RAW files on a drive you keep. We hold a backup for 24 months.

Asked before most bookings

Anything missing, ask on the phone. Weekdays 9:00 to 19:00.

How soon do we see pictures?

You see them on the tethered screen during the shoot. Edited selects arrive in a private gallery within 48 hours, retouched finals within five working days. Film assemblies take four working days.

Do you shoot outside Chișinău?

Yes, across Moldova and in Romania. Orhei, Cricova and Codru wineries are regular day trips. For anything over 60 km we add travel time and per diems to the estimate, nothing hidden.

Can we rent a hall without your crew?

Yes. Halls rent from four hours with house lights, stands and the cove. A studio manager stays on site to open the kit room and help with load-in through the courtyard.

Which languages does the crew work in?

Romanian, Russian and English on set. Subtitles and voice-over in all three are part of the film price.

Who owns the pictures?

You get the usage rights written into the estimate, usually unlimited online use and two years of print. Authorship stays with the photographer under Moldovan copyright law, which is standard and costs you nothing.

What if it rains on a location day?

We hold a weather day in the plan and move the shoot to it at no charge if the forecast the evening before is worse than agreed. If you would rather shoot anyway, Hall B is usually free as a cover set.

Tell us what you are making and when it has to be ready

Write two lines or twenty. We answer the same working day with dates, a crew and a price.
